Privacy policy
Last updated 2 November 2026
This policy explains what personal data the Final Fold website (finalfold.io) and its waitlist collect, why, and what you can ask us to do with it. It does not cover the Final Fold app, which will have its own privacy policy when it opens.
Who we are
Final Fold (“we”, “us”) is based in Bangkok, Thailand. We decide how your data is used and are responsible for it under Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Act B.E. 2562 (PDPA) and, where they apply to you, other privacy laws such as the EU and UK GDPR.
You can reach us at hello@finalfold.io about anything in this policy.
What we collect
When you join the waitlist:
- your email address (required);
- your name, your agency’s name and the plan you’re interested in, if you choose to give them;
- when you signed up and when you confirmed your address.
When you email us: your address and whatever your message contains.
When you send the waitlist form: your IP address, kept for one hour so we can limit repeated signups from one connection. Our hosting provider also keeps standard request logs (IP address, browser, pages requested) for a short time to run and protect the site.
We don’t ask for payment details, and you don’t need an account to use this website.
Cookies, storage and analytics
- The public pages set no cookies and use no advertising or tracking tools. The only cookie is a sign-in cookie for the people who write the blog, on its admin pages.
- If you change how an article is shown (text size or focus mode), that choice is saved in your browser’s local storage so it stays the same on your next visit. It never leaves your device, and clearing your browser’s site data removes it.
- We count visits with Vercel Web Analytics, run by our hosting provider on our own website address. It sets no cookies, stores nothing on your device and doesn’t identify you: it records the page visited, the site you came from, your country and the type of device and browser, grouped with a value that changes every day and can’t be traced back to you.
Other websites
The website’s pages, fonts and images come from our own server; nothing is loaded from other websites while you read. Links to LinkedIn, YouTube, Facebook and X, including the share buttons on articles, only take you there when you click them. Those sites then handle your data under their own policies.
Why we use it
- to send you one email to confirm your address, and to tell you when Final Fold opens (your consent, which you can withdraw at any time);
- to understand which plans the people waiting are interested in, so we can prepare early access (your consent, as part of joining);
- to answer your messages (our legitimate interest in replying to you);
- to keep the website and the waitlist secure and free of spam (our legitimate interest).
We don’t sell your data, share it for advertising, send you a newsletter or make automated decisions about you.
Who handles it for us
These providers store or process data on our behalf, only to run the website, under agreements that protect it:
- Vercel, which hosts the website and counts visits;
- Neon, which runs the database that holds the waitlist;
- Resend, which delivers our emails.
We may also share data if the law requires it, or with a company that takes over Final Fold, under this same policy. Some of our providers store data outside Thailand, for example in the United States or the European Union. Where that happens we rely on their contractual safeguards for international transfers.
How long we keep it
- A signup that’s never confirmed is deleted after 30 days.
- A confirmed signup is kept until we’ve told you Final Fold is open, and at most 12 months after that, unless you create an account in the app. Unsubscribing deletes it straight away.
- IP addresses used to limit signups are deleted after one hour.
- Emails you send us are kept for as long as we need them to answer you, and at most two years.
How we protect it
The website is served over HTTPS. The confirmation links we email carry a random code, and we store only a scrambled form of it; a new link replaces the old one. Only the people who run Final Fold can see the waitlist. If a breach ever puts your data at risk, we’ll tell you and the authorities as the law requires.
Your rights
You can ask us to:
- tell you what data we hold about you and give you a copy;
- correct it;
- delete it;
- stop using it, or use it only in limited ways;
- send it to you or to someone else in a common format.
You can withdraw your consent at any time, with the unsubscribe link in any email or by writing to hello@finalfold.io. Withdrawing doesn’t affect what we did before. We reply within 30 days and may ask you to confirm the request comes from your address. If you think we’ve handled your data wrongly, you can complain to Thailand’s Personal Data Protection Committee or to the data protection authority where you live.
Children
This website is meant for businesses. It isn’t aimed at children, and we don’t knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. If you think a child has joined the waitlist, write to us and we’ll delete it.
Changes
If we change this policy, we’ll update the date at the top. If a change affects how we use the data you’ve already given us, we’ll tell you by email first.
